A severe electrocution incident in East Hanover on Tuesday night has left one person with serious injuries, triggering an active investigation by local authorities.
Around 7:25 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the vicinity of 120 Eagle Rock Avenue following reports of a powerline down.
Upon arrival, they discovered energized lines on the ground and an unidentified person lying nearby.
First responders immediately administered CPR to the victim, whose condition remains unknown.
The circumstances leading to the incident are still unclear, and details are scarce as the situation is pending further investigation by police.
