Police checked a location in Jersey City for a crime scene after a person entered a hospital suffering stab wounds Thursday night.
A preliminary investigation indicated that at approximately 7 p.m., officials at Jersey City Medical Center notified police of a person who entered the emergency room stabbed.
Jersey City Police were pointed to the area of 125 Van Wagenen Avenue, where they searched for evidence to support the crime.
Police secured the vehicle that the injured arrived at the hospital in.
The victim is reportedly in critical condition.
No arrests have been reported at this time.
