Police in New Brunswick reported life-threatening injuries for a person found suffering a stab wound in a section of the city on Monday morning.
At approximately 3:40 a.m., police responded to reports of a person stabbed in or around 340 Delavan Street.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified, unconscious and unresponsive person suffering stab wounds at that location.
Medical personnel provided CPR on the victim before EMS rushed them to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center for further treatment.
The motive for the attack is under investigation.
No arrests have been reported.
