Several Males Wanted for Newark Burglary

Police in Newark request the public’s help in identifying several male suspects wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred on Thursday, December 9. 

According to police, at approximately 2:45 p.m., three suspects exited a 4-door white Chevy Cruze and entered a residence through the kitchen window in the 100 block of Mead Street.

The suspects left the home through its back door, stealing the victim’s jewelry and several designer bags.

Officials said Newark Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help quickly identifying the three male suspects as part of their investigation.

The first suspect is described as wearing black pants and a blue hooded sweater.

The second suspect is described as wearing black pants, a black and gray Nike hooded sweater and black and white sneakers.

Police said the third suspect is described as wearing black pants and a black, blue and gray hooded sweater.

Director O’Hara urges anyone with information on the identity of any of these suspects to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). 

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
