Police are investigating stabbing that sent several people to the hospital in Paterson overnight.
The incident happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. when officials at the St. Joseph's Hospital contacted authorities when three victims walked into the hospital's emergency department suffering stab wounds according to reports.
The victims told police that hey were stabbed by an unidentified assailant near the El Tipico Restaurant located in the 400 block of 21st Avenue reports said.
All of the victims' injuries were considered non-life threatening.
Police are looking for the suspect responsible and investigating a motive.
