Newark Police officials are looking into the cause of a crash that sent several victims to the hospital Friday evening.
According to preliminary reports, at approximately 7:55 p.m., emergency responders rushed to the multi-car crash near 315 Elizabeth Avenue in the city's South Ward.
Upon arrival, police requested three EMS units after locating the collision with victims suffering non-fatal injuries.
Police say all of the victims were transported to the hospital suffering serious injuries and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
