Several individuals were injured in a multi-car crash in Newark Saturday morning.
A preliminary investigation indicated that at approximately 3:42 a.m., emergency responders rushed to the vicinity of Quitman Street and Clinton Avenue after receiving reports of a crash.
Upon arrival, police found about three cars involved in a collision with five victims injured.
All of the injured were transported to the hospital, suffering non-life threatening injuries.
Police requested additional units at the scene for traffic control while officers investigated the cause of the crash.
Newark Police will handle the investigation.
