New Jersey State Police officials are investigating a crash that injured several victims on a highway in Middlesex County on Wednesday morning.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway near mile marker 134 in Woodbridge where emergency responders found at least three cars crashed at that location.
Authorities say two victims were transported to University Hospital in Newark suffering severe injuries while several other occupants of the vehicles suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is in the early stages of the investigation.
