BREAKING NEWS NJ: Please use EXTREME caution while traveling the state's highways and roads as there are over 15 crashes being reported at this time. Here are some of the major crashes:
Teaneck: There is a crash on Interstate 95 southbound near mile marker 120.4 involving about 30 vehicles and a tractor trailer.
Livingston: A bus that struck a police cruiser on JFK Parkway at South Orange Ave has the road impassible. Ice is being reported as the cause. Injuries are not known at this time.
A vehicle slamming into a pole at East Cedar has the road closed.
There is another police car crash on Rockledge Drive.... No injuries. Be careful police and first responders.
NJ Turnpike: There are several accidents on the highway including serious accidents in Carlstadt, Carteret, and Edison.
A crash on the exit 15X ramp has a jackknifed tractor trailer with a car crashed into it. Use caution.
West Orange: Eagle Rock Ave. at Prospect Ave. is closed due to ice buildup that caused a crash.
Norwood: There are about 10 cars off the side of the road near Broadway and Hillside Ave. after a crash at that location.
Bridgewater: A crash at Union Ave. at Finderne has wires down. Also, a crash in the 900 block of Rt. 22 has rescue crews on the scene for possibly trapped occupants in a vehicle.
A crash in the 300 block of Rt. 206 has first responders on the scene for reported injuries. This is a vehicle into the guard rail.
Branchburg: A crash at Readington Road and Tanglewood Drive has injuries reported.
Garfield: Three serious crashes in the area of Frederick Street and Maitland Place
An ambulance crash at Van Winkle and Cedar Street has possible injuries.
Montvale: Upper Saddle River Road at Old Chestnut Ridge Road has about 10 vehicles stuck up on the hill.
Hazlet: There is an 8 car crash on Bethany Road. The road is being shutdown.
Interstate 95: Southbound in Leonia there are multi-car crashes i the local and express lanes.
White Township: An overturned vehicle has first responders on the scene for serious injuries.
