Linden Police are investigating a physical altercation that injured several juveniles at a location in the city Monday afternoon.
According to a statement released by police officials, just before 3:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of Ainsworth Street and West St. George Avenue on reports of a large fight.
Officials say officers arrived at the scene and found over 10 juveniles engaged in fighting.
Police say a total of seven juveniles were treated for minor injuries then released.
Three juveniles were taken into custody and charged with various offenses.
The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Juvenile Aid Bureau, and anyone with information is urged to contact Det. Dave Nolasco at (908) 474-8520.
