Police are reporting serious injuries for a person found stabbed in Newark's North Ward Friday night.
Police say the incident happened in the 200 block of Broadway around 10:50 p.m.
When units arrived at the scene, they requested paramedics for the unidentified person found bleeding at that location.
The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment and remain in serious condition.
Police say the motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
No arrests reported at this time.
