EMS rushed a person to an area hospital after gunfire rang out in a neighborhood in Camden.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the area of Pfeiffer Street and Westminster shortly before 12:50 a.m.
Arriving police units found the victim suffering serious injuries after being shot at that location.
Police set up a crime scene where they searched the area of evidence and a possible suspect.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
