Camden Police officials are looking into the cause of a pedestrian strike that injured a female in the city Monday morning.
According to police, the incident happened at around 2:20 a.m. where emergency responders rushed to the vicinity of South 9th and Walnut Street after received reports of an injured person.
Police and EMS arrived to find the victim lying on the ground suffering severe injuries after a vehicle struck her at that location.
EMS transported the victim to Cooper Medical Center where doctors treated her injuries.
The driver of the car reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
