Paterson Police are investigating a stabbing incident that injured a person on Tuesday night.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the violent encounter happened around 8:55 p.m. at an address in the 100 block of Lyon Street.
Police arrived at the scene and found the unconscious victim suffering stab wounds at that location.
The injured was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center for treatment while police notified The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
Authorities have not reported an arrest in the stabbing at this time.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
