A raging two-alarm fire that tore through an apartment this afternoon in Roselle sent two people to the hospital.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to 760 East 3rd Avenue at around 1:45 p.m. for a fire with possible injured victims inside a two-story garden style apartment.
Crews arrived at the scene and observed thick smoke and flames coming from the building.
EMS transported two victims to the hospital suffering burns according to reports.
Firefighters found no other injured victims during a thorough search of the building.
The fire was placed under control at around 2 p.m. with the official cause under investigation.
