Police in Aberdeen are looking into a pedestrian strike that seriously injured a person on a roadway in the town on Tuesday evening.
According to police, at approximately 8 p.m., police and EMS rushed to the intersection of NJ-34 and Cambridge Drive after receiving reports of a person lying on the ground at that location.
Upon arrival, police found the severely injured and unconscious female victim, according to police.
The woman was airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson medical center for treatment and remained in serious but stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
