A pedestrian who was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle overnight in Paterson has police investigating.
The incident happened shortly before midnight in the area of 21st Street Avenue and Martin Street where emergency responders rushed to the scene to find a severely injure male victim at that location.
According to initial reports, the victim, who is reported to be in his mid-50's what struck by the vehicle then thrown at least 30ft feet where he then hit his head on the ground.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital where he was reportedly in critical condition.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
