There is an accident investigation underway on an Edison Township street as police are looking into a pedestrian strike that had the driver of the vehicle leave the scene.
Police were called to Talmadge Road between Rt. 27 and Carter Drive at around 2:30 a.m. to investigate reports of a pedestrian being struck by a car at that location.
Upon their arrival, they found the victim suffering severe injuries after a car struck them then drove away from the scene according to reports.
Police closed both directions of Talmadge Road for the investigation.
The driver of the vehicle remains at-large.
