Officials at the NJ State Police are looking into a crash that caused severe injuries to several victims on a road in Warren County early Monday morning.
According to a statement released by NJ State Police from authorities, police were called to 431 Shades of Death Road at Rydell Road to investigate reports of a crash with injuries.
Units arrived at the scene found a severely damaged BMW 3 series with five victims inside victims suffering injuries at that location. There were no other vehicles involved.
NJ State Police officials said three victims were airlifted to Morristown Medical Center suffering severe injuries while EMS transported the other two victims by ambulance.
The crash closed the Warren County intersection for the investigation according to NJ State Police officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
