An overnight shooting that caused injuries to a person in Trenton and a man shot at a separate location in the city early this morning has authorities investigating.
Reports of shots fired that rang out in the 70's block of Bryn Mawr Avenue, shortly before 4:30 a.m., sent police to the scene where they found one person shot at that location.
The victim reportedly suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the buttocks and legs.
EMS transported the victim to Capital Regional Medical Center where they are expected to survive.
In a separate shooting, gunfire erupted in the 200 block of Tioga Street shortly before 6 a.m. sending cops to the scene where a male victim was found suffering a gunshot wound to the stomach.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
Motives for both shootings are under investigation.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
