New Jersey Transit Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a 75-year-old man found inside a Newark Penn Station bathroom on Saturday night.
Transit officials said at around 11:10 p.m., officers discovered the senior individual in distress and immediately called for emergency medical services.
Despite efforts to revive him, including the administration of NARCAN and CPR, the man was pronounced deceased upon EMS arrival.
Authorities have stated that the death does not appear suspicious, and no signs of foul play have been reported.
This incident caused no disruption to train or bus services at Penn Station.
The investigation into the exact cause of the man's death is ongoing.
