Police in Jersey City are looking into the motive for a shooting that injured two people at a housing complex in Jersey City early Saturday morning.
According to police, gunfire rang out around 2:25 a.m. near the intersection of New Hope Lane and Peace Drive.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a male suffering a gunshot wound in his arm.
Police say after a further search of the area, they found the second victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg on the 20’s block of Peace Drive.
Both victims are expected to make a full recovery.
Police officials said there were a total of 2 shootings with seven victims shot during the overnight hours. One of the seven victims suffered fatal injuries.
No arrests have been made.
