Newark Police seek the public’s help with identifying a suspect who is wanted for a strong-armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday.
According to police, at approximately 12:30 p.m., police responded to a call about a robbery at Nicholas and Pulaski streets.
Police say the suspect struck the victim and took a gold chain, the drove off in a vehicle that has been recovered.
Officials say while police are actively searching for the suspect, they seek the public’s help so that he can be located. Director Ambrose urges anyone with information regarding the suspects to call the Department’s 24-hour Crime Stopper Tip Line at: 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward, according to police.
