Newark authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 10-year-old Tajh Preacher, who was reported missing today, Friday, September 13, 2024.
At around 4 p.m., Tajh’s mother discovered a handwritten note from him indicating that he was running away.
The boy was last seen in the 300 block of Chadwick Avenue.
Tajh is described as 5'2" tall, weighing 120 pounds, with a medium brown complexion and a low haircut.
He was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, a Marvel shirt, and red Crocs.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé urges anyone with information on Tajh's whereabouts to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
Tips are confidential and could lead to a reward.
