A scaffolding collapse in Hackensack this afternoon sent at least seven workers to an area hospital with various injuries.
According to initial reports, laborers were changing the roof of a three-story apartment building in the 100 block Tracy Place sometime around 3:30 p.m. when the scaffolding somehow collapsed.
The collapse reportedly left two of the laborers suffering critical injuries and several others suffering serious injuries.
They were all transported to Hackensack University Medical Center.
The collapse is under investigation.
According to reports, the just over a half-dozen victims fell approximately 40 to 45 feet to the ground.
