A serious crash on Interstate 78 in Berkeley Heights sent several people to the hospital Monday evening.
Police responded to the eastbound lanes of Interstate 78 near exit 43 just before 8 p.m. for a report of a multi-vehicle crash.
According to police, three people - two women and one man - were airlifted to Morristown Medical Center in unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
