The driver and passenger involved in a one-vehicle crash Friday on Route 22, suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said today.
Police were called to the westbound side of Route 22 sometime around 1:45 p.m. Friday afternoon for a one-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, police, found a Honda sedan overturned with both driver and passenger injured.
The unidentified victims were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
Police said the Honda drove off the road striking a mailbox, a highway sign and a concrete drain when it struck a utility pole and overturned.
The crash which initially appeared to be a bloody scene, turned out to just be a bright red spray paint can that splattered inside when the vehicle overturned.
