This is the northbound lanes of Route 21 in Passaic where emergency responders assisted an injured person out of a vehicle after a crash caused the vehicle to overturn shortly before 10:30 a.m.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where there injuries have not been reported as life threatening at this time.
The crash caused heavy backups that began at exit 9.
The cause is under investigation.
