A crash investigation team was on the scene of a crash of a Route 1&9 crash in Linden that critically injured at least two people.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene that was located in front of the Linden refinery shortly before 3 a.m. where arriving crews came upon a crash with trapped occupants inside a vehicle.
Firefighters assisted in extricating the badly injured victims before releasing them to EMS who transported the victims to the hospital.
The extent of the victims' injuries have not been released as of 7 a.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
