Police in Roselle are on the search for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at Rick's Wine and Liquor.
The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. at the store located in the 900 block of North Wood Avenue.
According to initial reports, an armed suspect entered the establishment, brandishing a gun, and made off with items including lottery tickets and possibly cash.
After the heist, the suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot. It remains uncertain whether he escaped in a waiting vehicle.
The Roselle Police Department arrived promptly to investigate the armed robbery in progress but found no physical injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to identify and apprehend the suspect.
