Corey Milligan, 51, of Roselle has been arrested and charged with weapons possession offenses after Officers found him in possession of an illegal handgun.
At about 2:50 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, Officers responded to Roselle Street on a report of a man with a gun.
Officers observed Milligan walking on Roselle Street and stopped him.
A subsequent investigation led to the recovery of a semi-automatic handgun loaded with a prohibited large-capacity magazine.
Milligan was arrested without incident.
Milligan is charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, fourth-degree possession of a prohibited weapon, and related offenses. He was remanded to the Union County Jail pending a scheduled appearance in Superior Court.
