An investigation by the NYPD is underway into how a Rockaway NJ man fell to his death from the midtown Four Seasons Hotel
Police said the man fell nine stories to his death Thursday when he attempted to scale scaffolding outside the window of his room.
The deceased man, was identified by family as 20-year-old Conner Cummings of Rockaway NJ, was occupying a room at the hotel that's located on East 57th Street with another man when he attempted to get onto the Four Seasons’ roof, according to police.
According to authorities, Cummings allegedly climbed to a scaffolding outside their room’s window in an attempt to take a picture when he slipped and fell.
Cummings reportedly plummeted nine stories to the ground and died, police said.
The incident is under investigation.
