Police in Jersey City are on the search for a suspect who is wanted for a violent attack on a person that occurred during a robbery at a location in the city on Friday morning.
According to police, the incident happened in the 70's block of Bostwick Avenue at approximately 3 a.m., where police received reports of a robbery in progress.
Units arrived at the scene found the unidentified victim suffering non-life threatening injuries after the suspect went on the attack during the robbery.
Police say the victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment while police searched the area for the suspect.
The incident remains under investigation.
