Police in Newark's East Ward are investigating a reported robbery that took place at a business Saturday night.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the incident happened just before 11 p.m. at 273 Lafayette Street, the Cloud Depot Vape and Smoke Shop.
Police arrived at the scene and began a search for suspects, only described as two males and a female who reportedly produced a weapon and took an undetermined amount of proceeds before fleeing the scene.
Authorities reported no physical injuries and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
The suspects remain at large.
