Authorities in Newark seek the public’s help in identifying the male suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday, January 17.
According to Newark Police, at approximately 6:05 p.m., officers responded to a business at Irvine Turner Boulevard and West Kinney Street on a call of a robbery.
Police say three males entered the business, with one of the males pointing a handgun at the cashier and demanding cash from the register.
The suspect then lunged over the counter and grabbed approximately $700.00 before all the suspects fled, heading westbound on West Kinney Street towards Livingston Street.
According to authorities, the suspects are all described as Black males with dark complexions.
Officials say one of the suspects wore a black jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and black Adidas pants.
A second suspect wore a blue Gap hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white and red Jordan sneakers.
The third suspect wore a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, dark gray jeans, and black sneakers.
