Road Rage Suspected in Newark Stabbing Incident Following Early Morning Crash

Newark police are currently investigating a stabbing incident that may have stemmed from a crash in the city's North Ward early Saturday morning.AdThe incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. near 160 Mount Prospect Street.

Upon their arrival, police officers were confronted with the collision and they found one person stabbed and another cut.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide medical treatment to the injured parties while police began questioning the drivers involved.AdInitial investigations suggest that the violence may have been triggered by road rage, although authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the event.

Fortunately, none of the injuries sustained during the incident are considered life-threatening.
