Newark Police are seeking the public’s help identifying the below pictured suspect in connection with two armed robberies.
Police said, the most recent robbery occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Friday, at The Weekend Spot Soul Food Restaurant located at 683 Springfield Avenue.
Police said the revious robbery occurred at approximately 9:05 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the JNC Mini Market, located at 661 S. 18th Street.
The suspect is a black male, approximately 6-foot tall and has a medium build.
He is in his late 20’s to 30’s and wears a black hat and black t-shirt, both with the word “Security” in white letters on them police said.
He flees the locations on a mountain-type bicycle.
While police are actively searching for the suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
