Police in Newark are on the search for the suspect/s that reportedly pulled off a rush hour carjacking in the 100 block of Fairmount Ave.
The suspect produced a weapon shortly before 5 p.m., taking a beige Subaru with a reported NJ license plate number "Y28-DMC"
There were no reported injuries.
