Police are investigating an early morning carjacking report that took place in the city.
According to the victim, shortly before 6 a.m., two female suspects approached him and ordered his car keys at gunpoint in the area of Norfolk Street and Hartford Street. The victim and one of the suspects began a physical struggle where the man was able to disarm the woman.
The women reportedly fled the scene. Rutgers Police arrived a short time later where a search for the women was conducted.
There was no reports of an arrest made or injuries.
