Police are searching for two men who they said robbed a city Quick Chek at gunpoint last night.
Police responded to the Quick Chek convenience store located at 464 St. Georges Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery.
An initial investigation revealed that two black male suspects entered the store armed with handguns while two employees and two patrons were inside the store.
The suspects then demanded money from one of the workers who turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.
Personal property was also stolen from a worker and another employee.
The suspects were then seen fleeing by St. Georges Avenue towards Minna Street.
Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
