An accident between a motorcyclist and a man on a bicycle resulted in injuries in Rahway yesterday afternoon, police said today.
Police responded to Linden Avenue near Hulick Place in Rahway around 3:38 p.m. for a report of a serious accident.
Upon arrival, police found a motorcycle driven by Fernando Zenoz, 50, of Rahway, and a bicycle driven by Tyree Fowler, 40, of Rahway, were involved in a crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the motorcycle was travelling westbound on Linden Avenue and the bicycle was traveling eastbound on Linden Avenue.
Both parties were transported to University Hospital in Newark with serious injuries.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the Rahway Police Department’s Traffic Bureau.
