Police officials in Newark seeks the public’s help in identifying two male suspects who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on Friday, June 1st.
According to a statement released by Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a male victim was robbed by two men in the 200-block of Court Street.
Director Ambrose said the suspects stole the victim’s cash and personal items during the incident that lasted a short time.
Officials say the first suspect is described as 6-feet tall and weighs approximately 190 lbs. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt with a “PRADAGYNYC” logo running down the center back.
The male also wore blue jeans, a red Giants cap and has a beard police say.
Police described the remaining suspect as 5’6” to 5’9” tall and 180 lbs. Police say the suspect wore blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
While police are actively searching for these suspects, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly identifying and removing the suspects from Newark streets.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
