Police reported property damage in a shots-fired incident in Newark's West Ward Tuesday evening.
At approximately 7:40 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 64 Munn Avenue, prompting a police investigation.
Upon arrival, Newark officers canvassed the scene and found shell casings in the neighborhood.
Police say a vehicle was damaged after being struck by bullets, but no one was inside the car.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been captured at this time.
Authorities reported no motive for the shooting.
