The NYPD cleared a commuter train after its Bomb Squad investigated a pressure cooker found on the last car of a PATH train from Newark Tuesday.
Port Authority officials said the report of a suspicious package at the WTC PATH Station came in at around 2:10 p.m.
The train was in the station for more than an hour before it was found with the Port Authority confirming the station, as well as the had been evacuated as a precaution.
According to Port Authority, PATH service was temporarily suspended from Hoboken to World Trade Center and No. 1 trains were bypassing the World Trade Center in both directions as the investigation was underway.
Services have since resumed on the 1.
PATH trains from Newark to the World Trade Center and Hoboken to the World Trade Center have also resumed, although with delays.
