A pregnant woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a two-car crash in Newark's West Ward on Saturday afternoon.
Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé reported that at approximately 3:41 p.m., Newark Police responded to a collision at the intersection of Littleton Avenue and South Orange Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle driven by a pregnant woman, who was then transported to University Hospital for evaluation.
The second driver remained at the scene and later went to University Hospital for evaluation as well.
Director Fragé said both individuals are reportedly in stable condition.
The incident is currently under investigation.
