Utility crews are on the scene of a power outage that's affecting several homes in the city's North Ward.
Emergency responder were called to the 500 block of Mount Prospect Street at around 1:45 a.m. for a crash involving a truck into a pole.
Crews arrived to find the truck had connected with some overhead wires that were hanging low ultimately causing the vehicle to pull the wires and a pole down.
The incident triggered an outage in the area authorities said.
There were no reports of injuries.
PSEG and city officials are working on the issue.
