Police in Newark seek the owner of a lost dog that was turned into the 2nd Precinct yesterday, February 24.
According to Newark Police, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a concerned citizen arrived at the 2nd Precinct, located at 1 Lincoln Avenue, with a dog that had been found in the North Ward near Park Avenue.
Officials said officers at the 2nd Precinct station would happily reunite the dog with its owner and request that they respond to 1 Lincoln Avenue.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about any criminal activity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
