Police Seek Man for Questioning in Newark Robbery Case

Newark police officials are searching for Mr. Dijuan Johnson, 27, in connection with a robbery that took place on Tuesday, May 14.Fitness

According to a statement released by Director Fragé, the incident occurred when a man drove to a business in the 300 block of Clinton Place to make a delivery.

As the victim exited his vehicle and entered the business, three suspects broke into it and set off its alarm.

Director Frage said the suspects began removing boxes worth $2,000 in tobacco products from the vehicle, and when the victim approached them, one suspect struck him with a closed fist, knocking him to the ground.

The suspects then repeatedly kicked the victim before fleeing in a 2011 Kia Sorento, which police have since recovered.

Detectives are now seeking Johnson for questioning regarding the incident. He is described as 5'5" tall and weighing 145 pounds.
