Police Seek Help Identifying Toms River Bank Robbery Suspect

Police are asking the public for help identifying an armed man that entered a PNC Bank in Toms River this morning.

Police responded to the PNC Bank, located at 9 Wrangle Brook Drive, shortly after 10 this morning for a report of an armed bank robbery. 

Surveillance footage showed a white male dressed in a long coat displaying a black semiautomatic handgun and demanded  money from teller.

Robber then fled in a small black sports utility vehicle with an undetermined amount of cash east on Route 37. The vehicle had light window tint and out of state license plates, added police.

Suspect was also seen wearing a large ring on his left hand.
