Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in locating the suspect vehicle in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, April 26.Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said at approximately 11:40 p.m., a man in the 200 block of Aldine Street, near Vassar Avenue, was approached by two Black males, each armed with handguns.
Officials stated the suspects demanded the victim’s money at gunpoint.
After going through his pockets, both suspects fled the scene, officials said.
According to officials, the victim was on the ground when he regained consciousness.
Officials say he entered his vehicle to find his cell phone, a lunch box containing medication, and a phone charger, which were stolen.Authorities say the victim was admitted to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as wearing a red jacket, and both suspects are believed to be in their twenties, officials said.
Oggivials stated the suspect vehicle is a 2005-2008 white four-door Infiniti with no front license plate and tinted windows.
